Elle Lomeli, a freshman at Buchanan, ran a personal-best 2:11.95 to win the girls 800 meters at the CIF Central Section Masters meet at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Lomeli also helped Buchanan finish eighth in the 4x400 relay in 4:05.15.
